COMPANY OVERVIEW
SERF Parts provides electronic-component sourcing, repair and refurbishment support, supply-chain solutions, and advanced semiconductor development for defense, federal, research, and industrial customers. The company focuses on difficult-to-source, obsolete, long-lead, and mission-critical electronics while developing domestic capabilities for emerging semiconductor materials.
The company combines electrical engineering, electronics testing, defense-system experience, logistics, supply-chain management, and federal procurement knowledge to address requirements as more than a parts broker. SERF Parts can identify viable sources, evaluate technical requirements, support traceability, troubleshoot failed equipment, and develop sourcing or repair paths when conventional supply channels are constrained.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Electronic & RF Component Sourcing
Semiconductors, RF components, circuit protection, resistors, capacitors, connectors, power components, instrumentation components, and related electronic hardware.
Obsolete & Hard-to-Find Parts
Sourcing of discontinued, long-lead, legacy, and difficult-to-procure components supporting sustainment and readiness requirements.
Repair & Refurbishment
Troubleshooting, component replacement, repair, refurbishment, functional testing, and verification of electronic parts, modules, power supplies, test equipment, and laboratory equipment.
Test & Measurement Equipment
Sourcing, evaluation, testing, and resale of oscilloscopes, power supplies, analyzers, meters, RF equipment, laboratory instruments, and related systems.
Supply-Chain Support
OEM and authorized-distributor sourcing, alternate-source identification, supplier research, material traceability, lead-time assessment, obsolescence support, and supply-chain risk reduction.
Federal & Defense Supply Support
Support for DLA and DoD requirements involving NSNs, manufacturer part numbers, approved sources, commercial components, critical-application items, and domestic sourcing requirements.
Scientific & Semiconductor Equipment
Sourcing of vacuum systems, semiconductor processing equipment, furnaces, deposition systems, laboratory equipment, and research instrumentation.
Advanced Semiconductor Materials
Development of domestic transition-metal dichalcogenide semiconductor capabilities with initial focus on MoS₂ and planned expansion to WS₂, MoSe₂, and WSe₂.
SUPPLY-CHAIN & SUSTAINMENT CAPABILITY
SERF Parts focuses on electronic supply-chain problems where simple catalog purchasing is insufficient. Requirements may involve obsolete components, shrinking manufacturing sources, long lead times, OEM discontinuations, limited commercial availability, or legacy systems that must remain operational.
Capabilities include locating qualified sources, identifying OEM and authorized-distributor channels, assessing available inventory, determining alternate sourcing paths, supporting material traceability, evaluating procurement history, and coordinating with manufacturers capable of supporting defense requirements. Where replacement rather than procurement is appropriate, SERF Parts can support troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, and functional verification to extend equipment life.
ADVANCED MATERIALS & TMD SEMICONDUCTOR DEVELOPMENT
SERF Parts is developing a domestic semiconductor pathway based on transition-metal dichalcogenide (TMD) materials, beginning with molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂). The development objective is a traceable U.S. pathway from domestically sourced materials through semiconductor processing and ultimately to functional electronic devices.
Planned development activities include domestic material sourcing, purification and precursor preparation, thin-film growth, process development, device fabrication, electrical characterization, and evaluation of semiconductor performance. Future materials include WS₂, MoSe₂, and WSe₂. The long-term objective is to contribute to resilient U.S. microelectronics supply chains through practical domestic sources of emerging semiconductor materials and devices.
DIFFERENTIATORS
• Technical Depth: Electrical-engineering and electronics background supporting practical evaluation of components, equipment, failure modes, and system requirements.
• Defense-System Experience: Experience with complex radar, shipboard electronics, systems testing, modernization, sustainment, and operational support.
• Supply-Chain Perspective: Combines sourcing, logistics, organizational management, and technical evaluation rather than treating procurement as a simple buy-resell transaction.
• Small-Business Agility: Able to pursue specialized, low-volume, obsolete, and difficult federal requirements that may be unattractive to larger suppliers.
• Domestic Technology Focus: Developing U.S.-sourced advanced-semiconductor material and device capabilities alongside near-term component and equipment supply services.
